Abstract

This panel aims to discuss tools such as ChatGPT and other AI tools in Higher Education. Should these tools be used in class by students and lecturers welcome them? Should lecturers use these tools to help them in tedious tasks? How to deal with a wrong use of these AI tools (e.g. Students using them to write assignments, contract cheating)? How to detect their use? What to expect in the near future? These and other issues will be discussed, highlighting benefits and challenges.
